The following is an excerpt from the Chairman’s Address, 2003:
Welcome all members to this, the 37th AGM of Roscrea Credit Union. 2003 has been another remarkable year for your Credit Union, resulting in significant increases in every aspect. During the past year, we lent almost €14 million to members, in challenging times, bringing our total loans to €30 million. Member’s shares (including SSIA’s) grew by 14% - now standing at €37 million. The total assets now stand at €41.4 million - up €5.7 million on last year. Membership continues to grow, having increased by 1,348. |
